I am so not gonna write in the third person. Because I'm a rebel. That's the first thing that you need to know about me. Second is that my soul is composed of music, and third is that I love my beautiful Edie.
I have a very diverse taste in music, and I really don't care what you think of it. However, if you'd like to know why it's so strange, here's the reason: I grew up with classic rock, fell in love with 80's pop, was introduced in the early 2000s to the emo/punk scene, got hooked on modern rock, and then slowly progressed toward my current love of indie music, while leaving none of my favorites behind from any period.
I am an English major and a senior at Colorado State University, though I hail from Maryland, across the country. I am a proud dork, a proud Southerner (my family is from South Carolina), an agnostic with a taste for religion, a philosopher, a psychoanalyst, an avid reader (especially of short stories), a literary theorist (who focuses on post-colonialism, Orientalism, queer theory, and Freud), an historian, a metrosexual, a talented poet, a decent guitarist, a horrible singer, a photographer, a cook, a cat-lover, a Scrabble-lover, and a VERY proud owner of a medicinal marijuana card in the state of Colorado.
And the best TV show ever is Friends.
Fare thee well.
